About Us We are the Thespian troupe for Durant High School, located in Plant City, Florida. Our sponsor is Ed Mason and he has been since the school opened in 1995. Troupe 5444 is, in a word, crazy. Consisting of around 90+ members we believe in the motto: "I will always hold you up. I will never let you fall," From the first curtain to our closing ceremonies at Mason Awards, we are a family.
